Ohio University to host five Bobcat Bashes for 2012 football season

Football season has arrived, which means so have the 2012 Bobcat Bashes!

Join fellow Bobcats for food, friends and fun at these pre-game socials held two hours prior to kick-off. Each Bash also includes giveaways and prizes. Bash ticket price includes beverages and tailgate-style food, such as hamburgers, hotdogs, sides and desserts.

This season, Ohio University will host Bobcat Bashes for four away football games and one Homecoming Bash in Athens.

• Sept. 1 OHIO at Penn State, Bobcat Bash at 9 a.m., close to Beaver Stadium, State College, Pa., kickoff at noon;

• Sept. 15 OHIO at Marshall, Bobcat Bash at 3:30 p.m. in Proctorville Center at Ohio University Southern Campus, Proctorville, Ohio, kickoff at 6:30 p.m.;

• Sept. 29 OHIO at UMass, Bobcat Bash at 1 p.m. at the Gillette Stadium parking lot, Foxborough, Mass., kickoff at 3:30 p.m.;

• Oct. 13 OHIO vs. Akron, Homecoming Bobcat Bash at 11:30 a.m. in Grover Center, Athens, kickoff at 2 p.m.;

• Oct. 27 OHIO at. Miami, Bobcat Bash at noon in Tailgate Town, Oxford, Ohio, kickoff at 3:30 p.m.
