The AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl in Shreveport, La., will host the matchup between Ohio University and University of Louisiana-Monroe on Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. CST. AdvoCare, a premier health and wellness company and the bowl game’s primary sponsor, is offering a trip giveaway and tickets to the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl for fans who submit the winning video on why their university’s mascot is a champion.
The winner will receive four game tickets, airfare for four*, two hotel rooms for Dec. 27-29 and a $250 allowance for each room. Winners will also be invited to the AdvoCare Jazz Brunch on game day.
To enter the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl Trip Giveaway, fans must submit a video telling AdvoCare why their school’s mascot is a champion. Video must be family friendly and no longer than two minutes. Video must be submitted between Dec. 4 and Dec. 16 along with the giveaway submission form to advocareV100@advocare.com.
"We at AdvoCare are looking forward to an exciting game on Dec. 28 and know that fans from both schools will provide fun and creative videos on why their team’s mascot is a champion," said Richard Wright, president and chief executive officer for AdvoCare. "This is the fourth year AdvoCare has sponsored the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl, and we are always looking for unique ways to get the students and fans involved. We know we will see the best both schools have to offer."
Winners of the AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl Trip Giveaway will be notified by Dec. 19 and will have 24 hours to collect the prize. In addition, winning videos will be posted on Facebook and used in a social media capacity. No purchase of any kind is necessary to enter or win, and making a purchase will not increase chances of winning. The best video will be selected from among all eligible entries received.

*Participants eligible for air travel must be located within the United States and further than 200 miles from Independence Stadium. A gas voucher of $50 will be provided for participants located within 200 miles of Independence Stadium.
