Libraries to host third annual Homecoming display

Ohio University Libraries will celebrate Homecoming, Oct. 11-13, with its third annual Homecoming display.

This extensive display captivates audiences each year and pays tribute to OHIO's history. Memories will run across 18 tables that will be piled high with some of the University's top mementos.

Publications such as "The Post" and "The Green Goat," dozens of historical photographs, athletic programs, posters, scrapbooks and more than 100 University yearbooks will be available for visitors to
peruse. Ohio University films produced during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1970s will be screened for further visual stimulation.

So bring family and friends to join students, staff, faculty and alumni on the fourth floor of Alden Library. The display will be available:

  • Thursday, Oct. 11, noon to 7 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 12, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Boost your Bobcat spirit by visiting this year's homecoming display and offering feedback to the Libraries' Facebook and Twitter pages.

For those who cannot make it this year, digitized versions of Ohio University yearbooks can be found on the Libraries' Digital Initiatives website along with other digitized collections, documents and images.
