Alumni Association partners with Passion Works Studio

The Ohio University Alumni Association (OUAA) is teaming up with Passion Works Studio to produce unique OHIO-themed products for the online Bobcat Store.

Through the Alumni Association's partnership with Passion Works Studio, green and white Passion Flowers are now available exclusively through the online Bobcat Store.

These unique flowers, which combine OHIO colors with the one-of-a-kind design of the original Passion Flower, are available in multiple sizes and are perfect to decorate a Bobcat home. Pre-orders are currently being taken for delivery in June.

Also available on the Bobcat Store are annual Rufus ornaments designed each year by a Passion Works Studio artist. Artist Deb Taylor designed the 2011 ornament.

"These projects are only the beginning of what I hope to be an on-going partnership with Passion Works Studio," said OUAA's Assistant Director for Strategic Partnerships Amy McKee. "Through collaboration, not only are we providing unique products to OHIO alumni, it is an opportunity for OUAA to give back to the Athens community."

Passion Works Studio supports collaborations between artists with and without developmental disabilities. Its purpose, according to the website, is "to inspire and liberate the human spirit through the arts." Since 1998, artists have created unique pieces such as jewelry, ornaments, flowers and greeting cards.

The Alumni Association is proud and excited to partner with Passion Works Studio. For more information about these products, visit ohioalumni.org/store. For more information about Passion Works, visit passionworks.org.
