From staff reports
On Wednesday, Ohio University President Roderick J. McDavis sent an email to all OHIO faculty, staff and students inviting them to participate in a survey to help determine the future direction of Ohio University brand messaging and advertisements.
Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
The purpose of my message is to invite you to participate in a survey which will help determine the future direction of Ohio University brand messaging and advertisements.
In a higher education landscape that grows more competitive each day, shaping our message to current and future students, faculty, staff, and alumni is critical to our continued growth and development-indeed, our survival-as a transformative institution. Just as important as shaping the message is fulfilling the promise it communicates.
Over the last 12 months, based on survey data from across the University community, interviews and focus groups with prospective students and consultation with various internal constituencies, University Communications and Marketing has worked with MelamedRiley Advertising Agency to develop several creative concepts that might serve as the basis of OHIO's next generation of promotional materials. Through a rigorous testing process and many discussions, the concepts have been narrowed to two.
By clicking the link below, you will be able to view two different concepts. Your responses in the ten-minute survey will be invaluable in determining which of these two concepts will form the basis for OHIO's next generation of promotional materials. Your participation in this process will help us move forward with this most important initiative.
The survey can be found here: http://www.ohio.edu/creative/.
