From staff reports
Let the countdown begin.
Feb. 20 marks 110 days until the Class of 2012 graduates. In preparation for the June 9 commencement, seniors are encouraged to attend the 110 Days to Graduation event, sponsored by the Ohio University Alumni Association.
Students can stop by the third, fourth and fifth floor Atriums in Baker University Center on Monday, Feb. 20 from noon-3 p.m. to get a jumpstart on their graduation to-do list.
Seniors can take advantage of career advice, get fitted for their cap and gown and preview Senior Week on the fifth floor. They can also discover post-graduation resources and order the official senior commemorative glass on the third floor. All attendees will receive an OHIO 2012 pin and one lucky student will win a free diploma frame through a special drawing.
Students can spend as little or as much time as needed browsing the tables. Vendors in attendance on the fourth floor will include Nationwide Insurance, the Ohio University Credit Union and Herff Jones for ordering class rings.
This event will help seniors prepare for graduation and give them plenty of time to place orders and confirm information before June. For more information, check out the Ohio University Alumni Association's 110 Days to Graduation Facebook event, http://on.fb.me/OU110Days.
