Marching 110 to perform annual shows in Athens and Columbus

Seniors will be recognized during Athens performance


Ohio University's Marching 110 will close out the quarter by playing all of its fall musical selections during its annual Varsity Show and Ohio Theatre performances.

On Saturday, Nov. 6, the 212-member marching band will host its Varsity Show at 8 p.m. in Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. The performance will include a special recognition of the band's senior class.

Tickets can be purchased for $8 by calling the box office at 740-593-1780 during normal business hours.

The band will take its show to the historic Ohio Theatre in downtown Columbus, Ohio, at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased by calling 740-597-1808 or by e-mailing ticket requests to marching110@ohio.edu.

"People have a great time at these concerts every year and it's a great time to come out and support the band," said Marching 110 Director Richard Suk. "The band enjoys performing for the fans and
really looks forward to these performances."
