The Post's Holiday Wish Book available Monday

Proceeds will assist tornado victims


The Post will use proceeds from The Holiday Wish Book, which will be distributed inside the Ohio University student newspaper on Nov. 8, to assist Athens County tornado victims.

The community can support this initiative by providing financial support through checks or online donations. All proceeds will go to the people and organizations featured in the Wish Book and duplicate support will be used to furnish wishes for clients who did not receive support or given to a nonprofit agency that supports similar clients.

The Post will use the proceeds to purchase winter clothing, home
medical supplies and infant and young children items for low-income
families. Items will include coats, shoes, bedding, body care items,
heat and toys.

The Holiday Wish Book campaign will run through Tuesday, Nov. 23.
