Alden Library will host a special Homecoming archives exhibit from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The exhibit, which will located on the fourth floor of the library, will feature memorabilia in a variety of forms dating back to the early 1900s.
Included will be 18 tables of photographs, yearbooks, editions of The Post, student publications such as the "Green Goat," dance cards, scrapbooks, sports programs, event posters, and other fascinating memorabilia. Recently digitized archived films that depict Ohio University from the early 1930s to the late 1970s will also be available.
As a bonus, all attendees will have a chance to win an Amazon Kindle. The graphite Kindle includes built-in Wi-Fi and a six-inch display screen which will allow the winner to view newly digitized Ohio University yearbooks that date back to 1893.
