DISMANTLING OF BLACKBOARD 6:

COPY ALL COURSE CONTENT OUT OF BLACKBOARD 6 NOW: Blackboard 6 Will No Longer Be Operational After 12-31-09

After December 31st, Blackboard 6 will no longer be operational, and course content cannot be retrieved. Please follow these steps to export course content out of Blackboard 6 and import the content into Blackboard 7 before December 31st:

STEP 1: 

If your Blackboard 6 course(s) content is in any term prior to summer 2009, you must first reactivate your Blackboard 6 course(s) before you can transfer the content from Bb 6 to Bb 7. Then proceed to Step 2.

STEP 2: 

Read instructions or Watch this video to learn how to export your course content out of Bb 6 and import it into Bb 7.

• Having trouble logging into Blackboard 7? You may need to Change Your Oak Password
• If using Internet Explorer 8, be sure to set it up to use the Compatibility View for tests and quizzes
• If using Firefox 3, be sure to Install the Add-On, for uploading assignments
• When Taking a Test or Quiz, if you click Save after any individual question, you MUST click Save at the bottom of the test or quiz before Submitting
