Andrey Soloviev joined the Avionics Engineering Center as a Graduate Associate in 1998. He joined the Center as a Research Engineer in January 2002. Andrey holds a B.S. and M.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow University of Physics and Technology, Russia, and he is currently finalizing the requirements necessary to obtain a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University. In 1997 he served as a visiting researcher at the University of California at Berkeley. His research areas include various aspects of inertial navigation, GPS/INS integration, digital signal processing, and joint time-frequency data analysis. He received the best student paper award at the ION GPS’96, and the G.E. Smith and G.V. Smith Memorial Awards from Ohio University for the academic year 1999-2000.
