WIP Announces new DVD - Working Title: OHIO Women Through the Decades

Staff Reports | May 10, 2013

Producer to Peggy Viehweger's already impressive resume.Based on Viehweger's many rich conversations and wonderful OHIO memories heard from her mother, a 1948 alumna of OHIO, she decided to undertake the monumental task of filming a documentary about OHIO women. The film records how women's lives have changed from the 1940s through today, and the effect Ohio University has had on their lives.

Filming is complete and the editing process is now underway. The final product will include interviews conducted with two OHIO female undergraduates from each decade using the same 12 questions. Once the DVD is finalized, we will work with the Division's ACM team to upload the content to our website!

Thanks to President McDavis and to OHIO's First Lady, Deborah McDavis, for providing the introduction for the DVD. Thanks to University College for their funding support and to the following people for bringing their skills, expertise and suggestions to the project: Peggy Viehweger, executive producer; Amy Elyse Brighter, project manager; Amanda Novak, research and operations; Andrea (Andie) Walla, assistant video producer; and Doug McCabe from University Archives.
