Spring 2024

 

Open Enrollment Period: 12/11/2023 through 2/2/2024; See Important Note below

Effective Dates of Coverage: 1/1/2024 through 5/11/2024 

*Premiums: 

     Student: $1,121.00

     Spouse:  $1,121.00

     1 Child:   $1,121.00

     All Children: $2,242.00

 

Important Note:

The Student Health Insurance Office will be closed 12/22/2023 - 1/2/2024 for the University Winter Closure. 

After registering for Spring semester, students voluntarily enrolling in the Spring 2024 coverage period are encouraged to submit their enrollment forms beginning 12/11/2023 and return them prior to 12/22/2023 for the best opportunity of having the form processed before the winter closure to ensure benefits are active by 1/1/2024. Enrollment forms returned prior to the Open Enrollment Deadline will have coverage backdated to be effective as of 1/1/2024. Enrollment forms are processed in the order they are received. Coverage will be backdated to be effective as of 1/1/2024.

 

 

 

Summer 2024

 

Open Enrollment Period: 4/25/2024 through 5/31/2024

Effective Dates of Coverage: 5/12/2024 through 08/19/2024 

*Premiums: 

     Student: $839.00

     Spouse:  $839.00

     1 Child:   $839.00

     All Children: $1,678.00

 

Important Note:

Voluntary enrollment does not automatically continue and requires submission of an enrollment form each semester during the Open Enrollment period.

 

Students registered for ½ or more Summer credit hours: 

  • Submit completed enrollment form during Open Enrollment
  • Summer premium amount(s) will be applied to student account
  • Student account balance payment plan may be available
  • Review Finances section of your My OHIO Student Center

 

Students not registered for Summer credit hours:

  • Eligible to voluntarily enroll in the Summer coverage period
  • Submit completed enrollment form during Open Enrollment
  • Summer premium amount(s) will be applied to student account
  • Prepayment of the Summer premium amount(s) is required
    • A prepayment portal is available through the My OHIO Student Center in the Finances section during Open Enrollment
  • Enrollment forms will be processed after the required prepayment has been verified
