Mia Citino is a junior at Ohio University, majoring in Environmental Studies through the Honors Tutorial College, minoring in Spanish and Political Science, and pursuing certificates in Law, Justice & Culture and Latin American Studies. She currently works as a Voinovich Undergraduate Research Scholar on the Appalachia Ohio Zero Waste Initiative and as a campus tour guide. She is a climate and sustainability ambassador, co-president of Sierra Student Coalition, and an active member of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honors Society. During the summer of 2022, Citino is working at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in the Division of Drinking and Ground Water. Mia Citino plans on attending law school after graduation and working in environmental law and policy, with a focus on Latin America.
