Information on the State of Ohio’s vaccine response, Ohio University’s role, and how it affects our campus communities

COVID-19 Vaccine Response

Currently in the State of Ohio, COVID-19 vaccines are available for distribution only by healthcare systems, local health departments, and local pharmacies. This means Ohio University currently does not have access to any vaccines for its students, faculty or staff.

Although the University is not yet able to directly provide vaccines, leadership has forged relationships with clinical and pharmacological partners so that we are prepared to distribute the vaccine if it becomes more widely available.
