Euirang Lee

Specializations: Health communication, persuasion, disaster communication, and visual communication

Euirang Lee is an incoming doctoral student in the School of Communication Studies (health communication track) at Ohio University. Her research is in the areas of health communication, persuasion, disaster communication, and visual communication. Particularly, she deals with examining the effects of health messages including visuals and texts on people’s emotions, attitudes, and behavioral intentions related to health and disaster issues such as dental problems, pandemic diseases, and mass shootings. She earned two master’s degrees, one in Journalism (a concentration in Strategic Communication) from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and the other in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She received a B.A. in Mass Communications from Korea University. She has worked as Health PR Manager at Narsha Hospital in South Korea since 2018. Also, she previously worked as English Instructor in South Korea and the U.S. for 6 years and taught people with diverse ethnic backgrounds.
