OHIO to host concerts, special events during Sibs Weekend Feb. 2-4

Ohio University is getting ready to welcome family members and friends to campus for the always popular Sibs Weekend.

This year's Sibs Weekend, hosted Feb. 2-4, invites all OHIO siblings, whether older or younger, cousins, friends or any family to visit for the special weekend.

Ohio University will host numerous engaging events throughout the weekend that offer siblings and those visiting an opportunity to embrace various fun experiences across OHIO.

The following is a sneak peek at some of the events taking place during the weekend:

Concerts and Performances

There will be several performances held around campus including:

  • Comedian Chris Redd on Friday, Feb. 2, beginning at 8 p.m. at the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium.
  • Apollo Night on Friday, Feb. 2, beginning at 8 p.m. in the Baker University Center Theatre. All Bobcats and Sibs are invited to join the Black Student Cultural Programming Board for this event, which is based on the show "Night at the Apollo," which means the audience will get to judge the quality of the performances.
  • Skilla Baby & Rob49: SIBS Weekend Concert 2024 on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Templeton Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. DJ Bandcamp will also be featured. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.
  • Michael Kent: Comedic Magician on Saturday, Feb. 3, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Baker University Centre Theatre.

 

Additional events

The weekend will also include a wide range of additional activities for Bobcats and siblings including The East End Game Night, Group Fitness and F45 Classes, a Sibs Weekend Brunch, tabletop games, hiking and zip lines.
