Research Interests

A) Global impact of lake systems through geologic time.

B) Limnogeologic investigations (study of lake deposits in the geologic record) that include sedimentologic and petrographic analysis of nonmarine carbonate lacustrine to palustrine rocks and mudstone-rich lacustrine/fluvial sequences in tectonic basins.

C) Sediments and associated features of modern reservoir lakes impacted by acid mine drainage in Ohio, including limnologic monitoring of lake characteristics.

D) Provenance studies of lake deposits using Sr isotopic analysis of carbonates.
