Do you have a summer co-op or internship but haven't registered with the Office of Professional Experiences (formerly the Office of Career Programs)? You can still earn one credit hour - at no cost to you. To do so, you must:
- Be getting paid for the co-op/internship
- Complete work that related to your major
- Work full time (but you don't have to work multiple rotations/semesters)
- Complete an evaluation of their experience at the end of the work term
Students are encouraged to go through the Office of Professional Experiences for a co-op/internship -- many employers prefer to see a supervised experience on transcripts.
To register, contact Brenda Llewellyn at email@example.com or stop by Stocker Center 183 to receive the Co-op Offer Report Form and get a one credit-hour scholarship.
