Have you had an amazing few years on campus? Some of the best? Times you’ll remember the rest of your life? Let Ohio University know how you feel by making Ohio University your Valentine this year.
Do you have a relationship with Student Senate, Greek Life, College of Arts and Sciences or intramural sports? Seniors can make a gift to the college, school, organization, etc. that they feel closest to. Donations can be in any amount and will allow seniors to leave a lasting impact on the University upon graduation.
Seniors can make Ohio University their Valentine by supporting the area on campus that’s closest to their heart. These gifts will be counted toward the first annual Senior Class Gift Challenge during which Ohio University seniors are competing against their peers at rival Miami University.
“Philanthropy is so important to Ohio University’s life-blood. As state support continues to decrease private support from corporations and individuals is becoming even more important to keep tuition costs affordable, programs running and scholarships available,” said Jessica Storm, assistant director of annual giving at Ohio University who is overseeing the Senior Gift Challenge versus Miami. “Students can help to ensure that Ohio University areas that they love remain and thrive on campus by supporting an area that means the most to them. Whether that’s $1 or $1,000, every gift really does count!”
The Challenge is taking place now until April 29. The winner will be decided based on the highest percentage of seniors donating.
