Crime alert issued for public indecency

Man exposes self near Pruitt Field

The Ohio University Police Department issued a crime alert last weekend after a man allegedly exposed himself to two female students around 9:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3.

The women told police they were walking south on Shafer Street near Pruitt Field when a man inside the fence pulled down his pants to expose his penis to them.

Police immediately checked the area, but were unable to find the suspect. He is described as a slender white male with dark, shaggy shoulder-length hair, approximately 6'1" and between 40 and 50 years old.
