    CONSTITUTION
    OHIO UNIVERSITY
    SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES
    FUTURE HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATORS
    A STUDENT CHAPTER OF THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVES (ACHE)

    CONSTITUTION

    ARTICLE I
    NAME
    The name of the organization is Future Health Care Administrators, hereinafter referred to as "FHCA".
    ARTICLE II
    PURPOSE
    To promote an educational environment wherein students may develop professional, personal, and social skills.
    ARTICLE III
    MEMBERSHIP
    Any student interested in Health Services Administration at Ohio University is eligible for membership in FHCA.

    Membership is open and the organization shall not discriminate on the basis or race, national origin, religion, sexual preference, disability, or gender.
    ARTICLE IV
    TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
    Membership in FHCA shall be terminated if dues are not paid in a timely manner which is to be determined by the Executive Board.
    ARTICLE V
    OFFICERS
    COMPOSITION-ELIGIBILTY-ELECTION

    COMPOSITION
    Officers shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Human Resource Coordinator, Community Service Coordinator, and Congress Coordinator. All of these officers shall be known as the Executive Board. At the discretion of the Executive Board and Faculty Advisor, additional officer positions may be designated.
    ELIGIBILTY
    All officers of FHCA shall be ACHE Student Affiliates.
    ELECTION
    Officers shall be elected by a majority vote of all paid and present FHCA members at the last meeting of Winter Quarter.
    ARTICLE VI
    TERMS OF OFFICE
    Officers shall be elected for a period of one academic year. The term begins Spring Quarter and ends Winter Quarter of the next academic year.
    ARTICLE VII
    VACANCIES
    All vacancies shall be filled by Presidential appointment.
    ARTICLE VIII
    REGULAR MEETINGS
    A minimum of 9 meetings (3 per quarter) shall be conducted in one academic year.
    ARTICLE IX
    AMENDMENTS
    Amendments to the Constitution of FHCA shall be proposed in writing and submitted to the Executive Board. Amendments shall be further discussed by the Executive Board and the Faculty Advisor. Following that discussion the proposed amendment will be voted on by all paid and present FHCA members and can only be passed by majority vote.
