JFROM THE EXECUTIVE BOARDJ We would like to welcome you to the Ohio University Chapter of SCEC! We hope that everyone has had a relaxing summer break and a good start to the fall quarter! We have many ideas for SCEC, and we would like you to contribute your ideas to make this organization a success. Some ideas that the board has suggested are creating committees such as Social, Fundraising, Publicity (includes website and newsletter), and Community Service. We would also like to collaborate with other organizations on campus for larger fundraising and community service projects. This year we are starting a member recruitment campaign in hopes to gain new members and keep current members. We also have started this website and a quarterly newsletter. The SCEC Newsletter will be available each quarter. We look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you this year! Good luck with classes! | |
