Public and Global Health
Our undergraduate global health certificate prepares students in a variety of majors to work on global health problems involving underserved populations within governmental and non-governmental agencies.
The community and public health program provides students with a thorough knowledge of a wide range of health issues. Students in this program learn how to assess the health needs of various groups as well as how to design, implement and evaluate health programs to respond to identified health needs.
Psychology
Our psychology major helps prepare you for careers in high-profile fields such as crisis work, health services and more. You can participate in internships, research and fieldwork that deepen your understanding of why people do what they do.
Recreation and Human Performance
Our outdoor recreation and education major blends traditional classroom and field-based learning opportunities to create a unique educational experience. Exercise physiology students conduct health assessments and fitness testing, and write exercise prescriptions for a variety of human performance goals. Many graduates use their degrees to prepare for medical school, athletic training, physical therapy school and physician assistant programs.
Social Work and Human Services
Our social work program prepares students to serve as social workers in rural and underserved communities and to obtain state licensure as a social worker.
