Healthcare, business, social service, education and other service-oriented professions have a need to create a professional image in the online world as the number of social media users continues to increase.


In his presentation entitled, “Creating a Professional Social Media Presence” Matthew Fox, MSN, RN-BC, will provide tips to help social media users ensure their networks view them as professional in the workforce and online.


Fox, is a healthcare professional and nursing educator at Ohio University Zanesville. He has researched implications for social media on professionalism in health care and has expanded that knowledge to provide strategies to create a professional social media image for all social media users.


Those who attend this free program will learn tips for enhancing your credibility and improving a professional appearance on any social media platform.


Creating a Professional Social Media Presence will take place on Thursday, March 22, at 6 p.m. at the Elson Hall Auditorium as part of our Third Thursday series, moved to the fourth Thursday due to Spring Break.
