Future Educators of Ohio University Zanesville (FEOUZ) recognized that many area schools have developed in-house food pantries in support of their students who experience food insecurity on a daily basis. Members decided to host a Snack Food Drive to seek donations of pre-packaged snacks that could be provided to the community. As a result, FEOUZ received 29 pounds of snack foods ranging from potato chips to fruit snacks. Collectively, the group decided to donate the items to the Eastside Community Ministry because they knew they support so many of the area children and families.
