Current Officers

Congratulations to the following officers on being elected as 2013-2014 Student Senate Officers. I encourage those of you who voted to stay involved in Student Senate and to support your new officers as they continue to create awareness and encourage involvement on campus. You may note that several of your officers are either seniors or will be transferring after Spring 2014, so get involved now so you can be part of the leadership team in 2014-2015. Your current officers, Alicia Swain, President; Kelsey Lane, Vice President; Mallory Bowen, Secretary; and Trac Tassan, Treasurer, and Douglas Robinson, Media Officer will continue to serve through the end of Spring Semester (May 3). The following Officers take office on May 6, 2013, (the first day of Summer Semester).

2013-2014 OFFICERS ARE:
President Mallory Bowen - I am majoring in Middle Childhood Language Arts and Social Studies with a minor in Communications. I will be attending OU Zanesville full time, including summer semester, until I graduate at the end of next fall semester 2014. I appreciate the votes that I received very much and I promise to do my absolute best as Student Senate president for these next three semesters. Vice President Andrea Ritterbeck - I am a Senior Communications major. I am a full-time student and I plan to graduate after the Spring Semester of 2014. I am excited to be holding a position with Student Senate and plan to contribute to the needs and suggestions of the student body. Secretary Kelly Robinson -. I am a Freshman Health Services Administration major and plan to graduate May 2017. I am currently a full-time student and also work in the Fitness Center here on campus. I am always looking for ways we can encourage others to join Student Senate. We have lots of fun-filled events planned for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year. Treasurer Hailey Jenkins - This is my second year at Ohio University Zanesville. I am a Political Science major and plan on transferring into a law program after next year. Media Officer Kaitlynn Fisher - I am a Nursing major. Being a full time student, I anticipate that I will be graduating after Spring Semester 2016. I look forward to serving this institution and the student body. I am so very thankful for all of the votes that were cast. This coming academic year will be one of growth for the Student Senate and I am very certain that I can bring more to the table to make the student body interested in being a member of Senate.
