OHIO Zanesville to Offer Trauma-Informed Educational Practice Course
Ohio University Zanesville will offer a graduate workshop for practicing educators this summer. The Trauma-Informed Educational Practice course will be offered online through Blackboard June 13 to July 17.
This course will focus on the effects trauma has on the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of all students. Strategies for implementing trauma-responsive classroom and school practices will be highlighted.
Teri Peasley, Assistant Professor of Instruction in Early Childhood Education, will teach the course. This course is recommended for teachers, guidance counselors, administrators, coaches and school personnel.
