Magazine subscriptions include: Bust, Curve, Bitch, Ms., Essence, and Lesbian News.

Meeting Rooms

Members of the university and community are encouraged to use the Women's Center for meetings, events, and classes. Please contact Emily Dacquisto,, or email to make a reservation. Additionally, you can view the Women’s Center calendar here, which shows an updated schedule of reservations for our space.

Lactation Rooms

Currently, there are lactation rooms available across the Athens campus and on some regional campuses. Please check our Lactation Rooms page for locations, amenities and availability of each room.

Student Support and Student Organization Support

The Women's Center offers support for both undergraduate and graduate students and student organizations. We provide research resources through our library, the occasional stipend to support research and travel, and many activities throughout the year for anyone interested. Students who apply for support should expect to present on their research and/or travel the following semester. Thus, only students who will be returning the following semester will be considered. It is also our policy to only fund students once. Deadlines for applications are September 15 and February 15. For more information, please email Dr. Geneva Murray at
