    MEDICATION WELLNESS REVIEW

    Grover Center E124

WellWorks is partnering with Shrivers Health and Wellness to help you make sense of your daily routine. On the first Friday of the month from 10am-2pm representatives from Shrivers Health and Wellness will be on-site at WellWorks for private appointments with our members to offer Medication Review and Medication Counseling.

What to expect from a Medication Review and Medication Counseling:
Bring in all your prescription and over the counter medications and have them reviewed by Shrivers' trained pharmacy staff. During a Medication Review, the staff will discuss: side effects, drug interactions, contraindications, proper use, and answer questions. Also during your medication review, they will provide medication counseling which includes: medication therapy management; disease state education; adherence support; food-drug interaction review; and safety monitoring.

To schedule an appointment, call 740-447-9201.

Can't make it on any of our event dates? You can schedule alternate counseling times at Shrivers Health and Wellness at 310 W Union Street in Athens!

    Walter Hall Parking Lot (#134)

    2019 WellWorks Buying Club:

University employees, students and community members are invited to participate in the 2019 Buying Club with weekly (Friday) pick-up on Ohio University's Athens Campus. The program is managed by Rural Action and all produce is purchased from local farmers at the Chesterhill Produce Auction. This wholesale model of a Buying Club allows for a greater diversity in the produce received each week, which can be a limiting factor of a traditional CSA. It also allows you to opt-out of certain weeks that you know you'll be out of town AND opt-in even after it has started. With such flexibility, this program caters to a wide audience!

    2019 Buying Club Details:

    • Weekly pick-up will occur on Fridays beginning June 14 and running for 15 weeks. There will be no pick-up on July 5 due to the holiday.
    • Size Options: Participants can choose to purchase a Half Peck (Feeds 1-2 adults per week), Peck (Feeds 3-5 adults per week), or Half Bushel (Feeds 1-2 families per week)
    • Prices: Half Peck = $12 per week/$180 for the full 15 weeks, Peck = $22 per week/$330 for the full 15 weeks, Half Bushel = $33 per week/$495 for the full 15 weeks.
    • Opt-Out Option: The above prices are the base level prices for the full 15 weeks. An added benefit of the Buying Club format is that you can opt-out of any weeks that you may be unable to pick-up your share. For each week that you choose to opt-out (or each week you have missed, if opting in after June 14), your payment will be prorated. You must select your opt-out dates at the time of registration. Your cost will be calculated and emailed to you so you know what your payment amount will be at the time of payment. For each week that you opt-out of the program, the following amounts will be deducted from the base payment: Half Peck = $12 per week, Peck = $22 per week, Half Bushel = $33 per week.
    • Online Registration: The  online registration form  is now available!
    • Payment: Payment (credit card or check made out to Chesterhill Produce Auction (CPA)) must be supplied to Rural Action at the time of your first pick-up. Rural Action is solely responsible for management of the program and ensuring the safety of the food provided. Ohio University is not financially involved in this program; the University is merely serving as a convenient pick-up location for participants.
    • Pick-Up Details: Rural Action will deliver your shares to campus in the Walter Hall Parking Lot from 12:00-12:45 p.m. every Friday (excluding July 5). The Walter Hall Parking Lot is Lot #134 on the  Ohio University Parking Lot Map
    • This year's Buying Club is limited to 30 participants. The minimum number of participants needed to fully execute this program is 10.
