Why is my body composition important?

Your overall weight is less important to your health and/or athletic performance than the composition of that weight (fat and fat-free mass). Too much or too little body fat may influence your health risk profile and/or athletic performance. Tracking your body composition over time helps evaluate lifestyle habits (new or old) and develop nutritional and/or exercise strategies to optimize your long-term health status and/or performance.

Functional Movement Screening

Movement quality matters.  High movement quality reduces the risk of injury and optimizes performance. The FMS scores 7 fundamental movement patterns and readily identifies limitations and asymmetries. Beneficial corrective exercises can then be prescribed. The exercises do not replace an already sound exercise program. They supplement the existing program, helping build better movement to develop strength and optimize performance.
