Anna Jensen joined the Innovation Center team as the Associate Director in May of 2013. Prior to this position, she worked as a Business Consultant and Operational Assistance Provider with TechGROWTH Ohio and the Center for Entrepreneurship at the George Voinovich School for Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University since 2008. In that role, Ms. Jensen helped companies in all phases of their business life cycles from start-up to succession planning. Through her work with the Ohio University’s MBA program, Ms. Jensen guided students through the consulting process to make real and lasting impacts on businesses throughout southeast Ohio.
Ms. Jensen came to Athens from the world of corporate retail management serving the Bon Ton Stores, Inc. as the Director of Price Change Management. Ms. Jensen played key roles in the integration of the systems through two mergers utilizing considerable internal customer service and change management expertise. An educator by inclination and education, Ms. Jensen holds a Bachelor of Arts in German and Secondary Education from Central College in Pella, IA and is currently completing a Master's degree in Sports Administration and Facility Management from Ohio University. Ms. Jensen is an active member of the community, serving on the board of Ohio Valley Summer Theater, as a Bobcat Club Representative and is a past-president and current board member of the Ohio University Women's Club. Originally from Iowa, Anna and her husband Packy Moran have called Athens their home since 2006.
