Ty helps students, faculty and professional staff to write reports about community and economic development, using his skills in client services, account and event management and relationship building. He honed those skills, along with online research and database management, as a caseworker for U.S. Congressman Bill Johnson’s office in Marietta, Ohio. In that position, he managed 140 cases for veterans and organized events for three veterans who had secured Purple Heart awards with his help. He received a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Rio Grande and a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University.
