
Loraine McCosker

Loraine McCosker has worked with the Environmental Studies program since 2007 both as an instructor and graduate student advisor. Loraine also coordinates the Kanawha Project, an environmental sustainability literacy project to educate faculty from diverse disciplines throughout the university. Prior to joining the Voinovich School, she worked with the City of Athens as a recycling consultant to city council. She was also a public health and school nurse for 15 years. Loraine holds bachelor's degrees in Applied Anthropology and Nursing from the University of Florida, and a master's degree in Environmental Studies from Ohio University.
