Lauren Hopkins

Master of Science in Environmental Studies Candidate

Lauren (Ren) Hopkins is a Master of Environmental Studies candidate.  Hopkins earned her undergraduate degree history and philosophy from Ohio State University in 2018.  There she studied animal-human bond and behaviors, animal behavior and the effects of captivity and completed a project studying the human influence on species extinction.  Her current work is on wildlife conservation in captive management.  Outside of class Hopkins enjoys painting, reading, Disney and working at the Columbus Zoo as a Conservation Interpretive Assistant.
