Kelly Love

Master of Science in Environmental Studies Candidate

Kelly Love is a Master of Science in Environmental Studies candidate with an interest in stream restoration. She is also a research assistant for Kelly Johnson where she will study lead decomposition in streams. Love received her undergraduate degree in Wildlife Conservation from Ohio University in 2018 after transferring from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Previously, Love was a member of AmeriCorps for the Raccoon Creek Partnership where she studied stream restoration of creeks affected by Acid Mine Drainage. She was also previously a research assistant for Donald Mile’s lab where Love studied how climate change affects lizard ecophysiology. In her free time, Love enjoys exploring, scuba diving, backpacking and camping.
