Lesli Johnson
February 17, 2016

The Integration of Behavioral Health and Primary Care Initiative is a multi-year funding partnership between the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville and the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board serving Athens, Hocking and Vinton Counties. The initiative is intended to improve the system of care and health outcomes for vulnerable populations, hoping to strengthen the capacity of behavioral health providers to partner with primary care, ensure access to primary care for individuals with behavioral health diagnoses and demonstrate the value of integrating behavioral health and primary care. This report evaluates the initiative’s progress during its second year, assessing results as well as determining next steps.
