Voinovich Scholar featured in Ohio Today podcast

Voinovich Undergraduate Research Scholar and Ohio University Journalism and Strategic Communication senior RaeAnn Ensworth was recently featured in a podcast by Ohio Today Radio.
Ensworth discussed how she has been able to bring awareness to the issue sexual assault on college campuses and help foster a community that supports survivors.
“Part of the reason that I wanted to get into sexual assault activism, and especially in sorority and fraternity life, is because you have to have those kinds of tough conversations to move forward. You have to identify problems in your community before you can find solutions. If we don’t talk about the problems, if we pretend they’re not there, whether it be hazing or sexual assault or substance abuse, then they’ll never stop happening,” Ensworth told host Julie Ciotola.
