Project C, an annual VisCom student project that features advocacy for local non-profits, has launched this year’s site. Now in their fourth year of giving back to the Athens community, this year’s team created stories highlighting four local groups as well as rebuilding the web site. Led by Alex Martinez and Kaley Langenderfer, the Project C group included students from each of the four sequences within VisCom as well as students from other majors. Founded by Annette Drapac, Tony Guglielmi and Kyle Ackley as a way to give back to the Athens community through the power of storytelling, this year’s team has raised almost $3,000. The featured organizations include ACENET, Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery, OhioHealth Appalachian Community Visiting Nurses & Hospice, and Factory Street Dance Studio. Their stories can be found at http://www.clickingcreateschange.com.
