Called to Active Duty?

If a " Call to Active Duty " interrupts your academic career the Veterans and Military Student Services Center and the Office of the University Registrar are here to help facilitate as smooth and timely departure from Ohio University as possible. Both offices will also assist you to facilitate your re-enrollment when your period of active duty concludes and you are ready to resume your studies.

It is important that you work closely with your academic advisor, the Veterans and Military Student Services Center, and the Office of the University Registrar to ensure all necessary documentation is submitted in a timely fashion for you withdrawing from Ohio University.

How do I return to Ohio University?

If you attended Ohio University previously and wish to return:

Step 1

  • Undergraduate students - contact the Office of the University Registrar, Chubb Hall, or your regional campus Student Services office for assistance. Students who have attended since 1985 must complete the Re-enrollment Form. Students who have not attended since 1985 must complete the Application for Re-enrollment.
  • Graduate students - contact the Graduate College, Research and Technology Center, Room 220.

Step 2

  • Contact the Veterans and Military Student Services Center to get your VA benefits started.
