Students and their guests have the option to stay on campus in a residence hall the night before their orientation program. There will be no sessions or programmatic elements during the stay. Students can sign up for this when signing up for orientation. Fees apply.

Meet the orientation team, review the orientation program schedule, and hear from the University administration.

9:15-9:35 a.m. What It Means to Be a Bobcat

9:35-10 a.m. Your Personalized Plan for Success

Supporting Students In Transition
This session will include some important information about the transitional experience students are going through and how family members/guests can support them. Our staff will close the session with a few reminders for all guests in attendance, including an opportunity to provide feedback to our team.

11-11:25 a.m. Expectations and Opportunities for Your Student
Guests and families will learn more about the expectations OHIO has for our students and dig deeper into how OHIO helps students to thrive.

  BSO Resource Fair (until 12:45)
Programs and services will host tables for students and their guests to connect and learn more about available resources. 		 Baker University Center Ballroom

1-1:45 p.m. Family and Guest Academic Meet and Greet with Colleges
Connect with your student’s academic college and learn about University, college, and major requirements.		 Morton Hall
1:45-2:30 p.m. What I Wish My Family Knew
Our orientation leaders will share their own stories about interactions with their family members in their own transition. An opportunity for guests to ask direct questions of the student panel will also be included.		 Morton Hall

Join staff from various offices across campus to get your questions answered and learn more about services available to your student.
