Capt Andrea J. Kuck is the Operations Flight Commander, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Detachment 650, based in Athens, Ohio. She is responsible for the supervision of cadet operations and community outreach. The detachment serves as the United States Air and Space Force’s premier representative and only commissioning source at Ohio University.

Capt Kuck obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio State University in 2016, double majoring in Korean and Japanese. She received her commission into the United States Air Force through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps in May 2016 as a Force Support Officer.

Capt Kuck has held a variety of assignments that spanned the globe from Japan to Africa. Prior to her current position, Capt Kuck was the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator for the 52d Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. She was responsible for all prevention and response actions regarding welfare and care of victims of sexual assault, supporting 15,000 military and civilian personnel spanning 21 squadrons and seven Geographically Separated Units in five countries. During this assignment, she also deployed as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator to execute the expeditionary Sexual Assault Prevention and Response program for the United States Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa.
