Virtual Volunteer Opportunities

The Center for Campus and Community Engagement encourages Bobcats to follow social distancing health and safety guidance from the State of Ohio and Ohio Department of Health. Local opportunities for remote volunteers will continue to be hosted on GivePulse for students and community partners. To learn more about remote service opportunities please visit our Coronavirus resource page.

If you're a community partner interested in hosting a team of volunteers with us, please reach out to us at communityengagement@ohio.edu

Community-Based Internships

The Community-Based Internship Program connects students to nonprofit and public sector organizations to engage in mutually beneficial internships that provide students with high impact experiential learning opportunities and provide community partners with tangible outcomes that directly benefit the southeast Ohio region.

This program is not currently accepting applications. Check back later, sign up for our newsletter, or follow us on social media @OHIOengagement for updates!

Students interested in additional (both paid and unpaid) local opportunities can find internships posted by nonprofits and government agencies on Givepulse
