Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies
Ohio University's Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies (BTAS) degree, offered on all Ohio University campuses and through OHIO Online, is designed for associate degree graduates who want to further their education and advance their careers.
The program provides you with knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to get ahead in your chosen career and integrates the technical skills developed within associate degree programs with the professional skills in a bachelor’s degree program. The BTAS utilizes 60 semester hours of associate degree credit, of which a minimum of 24 semester hours must be in a technical field.

Admission Requirements
- Associate in Applied Business (A.A.B.) or Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) or 60 hours of technical degree credit of which a minimum of 24 hours is in a technical degree field
- Cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher
