University Communications and Marketing and Ohio University Press
Appalachia Rising: Stories of Hope and Achievement from Ohio's Appalachian Hills and Valleys shows the positive impact of Ohio University's involvement in a region labeled "the ground zero of American poverty." The book is a collection of stories from the "Appalachia Rising" series in Compass (the UCM-produced online news source for Ohio University). Published in partnership with Ohio University Press, this project exemplifies how UCM continues to tell the story of OHIO's contributions to the region.
The team was very responsive and on top of the project. I especially liked that my opinion was asked along the way and that I had some creative input into the process.
