UCM's Marketing Services Team is responsible for advancing Ohio University and its programs. By doing so, we elevate the reputation, value, and competitive strength of the University by articulating, promoting, and continually advancing its brand. We do this through effective communication and promotion: Telling great stories about the University’s beautiful campuses and rich history in education, the roles and support our professors provide students, student life and residential opportunities, and the Bobcat pride we all love to share. Describing the role of the institution through these stories continues to support the message of the transformative educational experience Ohio University provides.
We work with clients across the institution to develop creative approaches through problem solving and marketing strategies. These approaches are designed to speak effectively to key audiences including prospective students, prospective faculty and staff, the communities we call home, and members of the public. A team of professionals skilled in marketing, writing and editing, design, video, and photography reflect and promote Ohio University at a professional level.
As part of Ohio University Communications and Marketing, we also are responsible for establishing and maintaining the standards for the Ohio University brand. These include brand architecture; brand identity; consistent voice, look, and feel; and standards for language, photography, and proper use of the institution’s marks.
