Dr. Lisa Beeler is passionate about all things that are fair, just and inclusive. From the classroom to daily life, she is constantly listening to, learning about and advocating for diversity and inclusion. Beeler, a first-generation college student from Appalachia, spent 8 years in Atlanta, Ga. immersed in the marketing sales industry. She combines her knowledge of business and empathy for others to facilitate and navigate difficult diversity and inclusion conversations that are taking place around the workplace and classroom.
As the Director of Diversity for the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, the nation’s largest collegiate sales organization, Beeler’s mission is to prepare students to not only work and thrive in diverse workspaces, but to contribute to justice and speak up for all that is right. Her research mission is similar: Do good research. Do research that matters.
Beeler’s research has been published in The Journal of Business Research, The Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, The Journal of Product Innovation Management, and others. She is trained in workplace and classroom facilitation of diversity and inclusion topics and has won multiple teaching awards.
