Heritage College earns plaudits from legislators, governor for 40 years of service Apr 21
The Ohio State Legislature recognized the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine for four decades of service to the state with a Founder’s Day event at the Statehouse on Wednesday, April 20. The Legislature presented resolutions for the school's service on the floors of both the House and Senate. Gov. John Kasich also recognized the college’s 40th anniversary with a proclamation, in which he praised the school “for creating meaningful and lasting impact on generations of Ohio University students.” Read More

EPA Recognizes Ohio University Among Nation’s Leading Green Power Users Jan 27
Today, Ohio University announced that for the first time it appears as No. 14 on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA's) Top 30 College & University list of the largest green power users from the Green Power Partnershop. Ohio University is using more than 60 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of green power annually, which represents 50 percent of its total power needs. In addition, Ohio University is generating green power from an on-site solar energy system. Ohio University's choice to use green power is helping to advance the green power market and support clean renewable energy alternatives. Read More
