High School Students

Interested in enrolling in Air Force ROTC? Ohio University offers an exceptional AFROTC program.

Here, you can have the best of both worlds; a college student lifestyle while receiving top-notch military training.

After acceptance into Ohio University, talk with your academic advisor or speak with an AFROTC cadre member about enrolling into the AFROTC program. You can also learn about how to get your college tuition paid for and receive other benefits only offered to AFROTC cadets See Scholarships and Benefits.

College Students 

If you’re a first-year student with at least 4 years left in your degree and are interested in joining AFROTC, enroll in the Aerospace Studies course and lab titled AST1010 and 1010L. If you’ve already completed a semester or a even a full year in college and want to join AFROTC, you may still sign up! Speak with an AFROTC cadre member to find out which course to enroll in.

Once enrolled in the right class, you’ll need to create an AFROTC WINGS account. Review these step-by-step instructions on what you need to complete before joining.
