SAC is the commission on Student Senate responsible for allocating funds to student organizations on campus. We do this through different applications that organizations fill out and submit. The Commission then reviews all funding requests and works with student organizations to ensure they receive as much funding as possible for open, safe, and exciting events for Ohio University students.
We currently offer a few different types of funding. One is Spot Funding, intended for smaller events requiring $1500 or less. You must be a registered student organization with the Campus Involvement Center and attend one of our funding workshops. Another is uFund, with the same funding cap but not requiring you to attend a workshop or register with the CIC. Any group affiliated with OU can apply; we only ask that your event attract a large number of OU students in addition to providing safe alternatives to high-risk behavior. Both applications are evaluated on a biweekly basis.
